UFG opens selection for training program in Social Sciences for refugees and forced migrants
Interested parties must register by 11:59 PM on May 2nd
The Federal University of Goiás (UFG), in partnership with the University of Cagliari (UNICA) and Lead Impact, has launched Call 001/2024 for the Training Program in Social Sciences, aimed at refugees or those in situations of forced migration.
The program offers 10 postgraduate positions (master's level) and includes support for participants, who will receive a tablet and, eventually, books to assist in training. Additionally, two participants may be selected to attend a course in person at the University of Cagliari, in Italy, with a twenty-four month scholarship.
Interested parties must hold undergraduate degrees (bachelor's or licentiate), either in Brazil or abroad, or be completing their undergraduate studies before the enrollment date. Individuals meeting the criteria of refugee, asylum seeker, or possessing migratory regularization will be considered as being in a situation of forced migration.
Registration will be open until 11:59 PM on May 2nd and can be done by filling out a form available on the site.
